As of February 1st, 2008 the states that currently recognize the Arizona CCW Permit are:
- Alabama
- Alaska
- Arkansas
- Colorado
- Delaware
- Florida
- Georgia
- Indiana
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Michigan
- Missouri
- Montana
- New Hampshire
- New Mexico
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Ohio
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Utah
- Virginia
- Wyoming
Recognition is pending in the following states:
- Idaho
- Mississippi
- Pennsylvania

I appreciate the insights posted thruout website. Very informative.
Being that UT (and the other states listed above) “recognize” the AZCCW permit, is this defined as UT allowing a legal holder of the AZ permit to carry concealed throughout UT?
If so, then it’s reasonable to think that, among maybe some other benefits, obtaining the UTCCW permit is really to possess carrying priveledges in the other states that it reaches as well - eg Nevada. Correct? Comments?
